"Pantry" Fallout Shelter / Tornado Shelter

Hey.. if you've ever been in basement of a house shaking from a tornado close by, you'd wish you were a little deeper. The wood frame has food and water storge on top of and around it to act as a radiation sheild in the case of fallout. The basement provides a protection factor of about 10, the shelter another 15 to 20. Overall protection is you may receive 150 to 200 times LESS radiation than outside. The total cost of the wood was $62 at home depot. Shelter inside size is 8' x 4' x 4'. Its better than being naked and I had to store my supplies someplace.
